Izzy's Kids Club: Robotics Night
Celebrate National Robotics Week! All Kids Club members will be challenged to build their own robot to take home. Members will also learn about basic coding and mechanical concepts related to robotics. Snacks and exhibit exploration are also included in this high-tech experience.

Engineering Week Summer Camp - Grades 4 - 6
Dive into engineering in a fun, hands-on way! Campers will learn concepts of engineering, from design to building, with game-themed challenges: is it life-sized "Mouse Trap" or a "basketball catapult"? Whatever they dream up, campers will be challenged to combine their creativity and ingenuity with fun projects! Engineering Camp is sponsored by Chemours.

This Kids Club will take our members around the museum where they will build, solve and experience the exhibits in a new way. Once they've made it to the end, they will make their own stuffed bears to take home as a trophy.
Cost is $30 this is a drop-off event and which covers snack, bear hunt gear, projects and their own stuffed bear! Join us for a heart-themed, hands-on STEAM program for kids ages 2-5! This program includes fun activities such as learning how our heart works and feeling heartbeats with a stethoscope, decoding secret messages with conversation hearts, working together on a toy car track with heart-shaped hoops, creating heart friendship bracelets, and sorting, counting, and matching heart-shaped paper cutouts. Join us in the Makerspace for our December MakerDays! Kids will learn how to make their own Gingerbread house and the importance of engineering! Izzy's Kids Club: Parents Night Out
We know the holidays can be hectic so drop your kids off for a fun night at Discovery World while you check items off your to-do list! Your little elves can join us in Izzy’s Holiday House for a night of making and creating! Each participant will take home a special gift for their caregivers. While we create a one-of-a-kind gift we will enjoy hot chocolate, popcorn, and a short holiday film.

Join us this week from 9:30 to 11am for Tiny STEAMers as we welcome WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center as our guest Teddy Bear Clinic presenter. This program features story time, a hands-on STEAM activity, a themed craft, snack and extra time to stay and play at the museum for child and (1) caregiver! Classes are $20 and are non-refundable or transferable to a later date.
Baby STEAMers (0-12 months)
Join us this week for fun holiday creations! This weekly class will be held from 9 - 10am and encourages interaction and socialization for both babies and caregivers! Price includes instructional time for child and (1) caregiver as well as bonus “stay and play” time after class. Class is for babies ages 0 - 12 months old.
Cost is $20 per visit and includes coffee for the caregivers
