Camp Details:
This camp runs Monday, July 20th - Thursday, July 23rd
Drop-off is from 8:30 AM to 9 AM; all children must be picked up by 3:30 PM. A late pick-up fee will be charged after 3:30 PM.
We will provide snack, but not lunch. Caregivers will need to send a packed lunch or send money for your child to shop in the museum’s cafe and gift shop.
All campers will receive a water bottle and t-shirt.
Safety and security are a top priority at Discovery World.
All campers are checked in and out each day.
Campers never travel unattended, and headcounts are always performed when traveling in the museum or going outside to our fenced-in backyard.
All Discovery World employees and volunteers are background checked and well-trained.
We ensure your child has plenty of bathroom and water breaks throughout camp.
We clean daily and in-between activities.
In case of any emergency, our staff are trained and will contact you once your child is in a safe place, and we can call.
If you have any questions about our emergency protocols or safety-related matters, do not hesitate to ask.
Camp Rules:
Our mission is to provide a fun, safe, and educational week for all campers. We ask that members follow 5 simple rules:
We treat all campers and camp leaders with respect. We speak kindly to each other. (No name-calling, swearing, or screaming).
We use our listening ears and follow directions.
We keep our hands, feet, and mouth to ourselves. (No hitting, kicking, biting, etc.)
We stay together and follow safety guidelines.
We have fun and explore STEAM!
*Please note that failure to follow camp rules can lead to dismissal from camp.
