Come join us at the Mid-Ohio Valley RoboCamp!
Discovery World and local FIRST Robotics Team 7515 Dark Side Robotics have partnered to offer a one-week, hands-on robotics day camp at Discovery World in Parkersburg.
WHO IS IT FOR?
All STEM-interested 11-14 year-olds are invited to join the fun and learn about building and coding robots using VEX IQ robot kits. No prior robotics experience needed.
THE ITINERARY
Over a span of 5 afternoons, mentors from Dark Side Robotics will guide the camp participants on a (robotic) voyage filled with fun team activities, robot construction, and coding challenges.
Campers will work in small teams to build VEX IQ robots, write code to autonomously operate their robots, and test their building and coding skills in friendly competition against other teams and their robots.
WHERE?
The camp will take place at Discovery World on Market (900 Market Street, Parkersburg, WV) from July 8th – 12th, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. Camp cost will be $100, plus $20 for a camp t-shirt (bring t-shirt money on the first day).
